Ebay Settles Patent Dispute

Online auction giant Ebay has settled with a tiny Virginia company a patent dispute over the technology behind the site’s popular “Buy It Now” feature. The settlement, terms of which were undisclosed, caps a legal case that began in 2001 and reached the U.S. Supreme Court.
